Nehemiah Alliance: 52-Day Rebuild Initiative
Calling the Nation to Prayer, Fasting, and Repentance for America’s Spiritual Renewal
In the spirit of Nehemiah, this initiative seeks to unite believers across America for
52 days of focused prayer, fasting, and repentance, asking God to rebuild the moral and spiritual walls of our nation.
The long-term strategy is to seek, where possible, an official blessing from the United States Government
in the form of a simple resolution from the Senate and/or House of Representatives, and, if possible, a presidential proclamation.
Even receiving one of these will be a significant win, but we are believing for all three.
The 52-Day Rebuild Initiative will begin on Friday, September 11, 2026 and will culminate on
All Saints’ Sunday, November 1, 2026.
As we approach the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, we recognize that the spiritual battle for our freedoms and the soul of our nation has intensified.
Like Nehemiah, we are asking for Heaven’s favor and for the aligning partnership of leaders to “rebuild the broken walls.”
52-Day Prayer Focus
Participants in the Nehemiah Alliance will pray in one accord for the rebuilding of America’s spiritual walls.
Alliance leaders will distribute this call to prayer throughout their spheres of influence.
- Days 1–50: Prayer focus on the 50 states of the United States.
- Day 51: Prayer focus on our Nation’s Capital, government leaders, the United States Congress, Supreme Court, the President’s Administration, and the President.
- Day 52 (All Saints’ Sunday, November 1, 2026): A sacred assembly online and/or in person in Washington, D.C., to humble ourselves in prayer, fasting, and repentance for our leaders, citizens, states, and spheres of culture.
People of faith are encouraged to take their place as “Gatekeepers”, just as in Nehemiah’s day, by “building the wall in front of their own homes” — interceding for families, neighborhoods, schools, churches, businesses, and government.
United Prayer for America
Our Father, we, Your people, humble ourselves and pray, seek Your face, repent by turning from sin while trusting Your Word that You will hear from Heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land.
Cover every citizen, every sphere of influence, and all in authority with Your banner of blessing and canopy of protection.
Your kingdom come, Your will be done in our cities, states, and nation as it is in Heaven. May the Gospel be proclaimed, disciples made, and laborers sent into the harvest.
May the hearts of the fathers be turned to the children and the children to the fathers. May we be one as Jesus and the Father are one.
May we be a shining city on a hill that brings You glory.
As Scripture urges, we pray for the peace and prosperity of our nation. In Your great mercy, for Your name’s sake, answer our petition as we come boldly before Your throne of grace in our time of need.
As in Nehemiah’s day, rebuild our walls, restore our homes, revive our hearts, as we humble ourselves, interceding in one voice as one nation under God, indivisible, renewing liberty and justice for all.
In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
