Like many of you around the globe, our state and country are in a national crisis caused by COVID-19. Biblically and historically, when there was a crisis, spiritual leaders were given the responsibility to lead their communities and country in a time of mourning, repentance and prayer.
Every Sunday afternoon during the month of April, we are hosting a solemn, sacred assembly for crisis intervention via phone conference call. Many different churches, ministries, pastors, governmental and spiritual leaders participate each week. We were encouraged this past Sunday that so many joined together in unity with powerful prayers, praise and proclamations made.
We encourage you to fast as well, whether it is food, media, or however else God may direct you. Fasting adds fuel to our prayers! Sacrifice releases power and every prayer matters. That includes yours.
We feel the Lord has extended an invitation to us to “weep between the porch and the altar.” Joel 2:17
