James Goll here with the Prophetic DISCRNR Podcast. This is the time each month where I share prophetic perspective about the season we are in. Right now, as I continue to seek the Lord for wisdom to frame 2026, one phrase has continued to resound deeply within me: “Wisely discerning the times…”
We have entered a season of divine orchestration marked by momentum, volatility, and rapid change. There is a lot happening all at once. This is a time that requires clarity, humility, and spiritual maturity.
In recent days, the Holy Spirit has reminded me again that revelation without character can become overpowering, and insight without love can lead to confusion. More than ever, we must ensure that our character can carry the level of authority and understanding being released.
The foundational Scripture the Lord highlighted to me is found in 1 Chronicles 12:32 NASB
“The sons of Issachar were men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do.”
We Need to Wisely Discern the Times Just like the Sons of Issachar.
This verse has long been a cornerstone for discerners. It speaks not only of understanding what is happening, but also of knowing how to respond rightly. Let me share what I sense and see prophetically for this season we are in.
The Dominoes are Nations in Realignment
At the beginning of this year, I had a profound encounter where I saw dominoes carefully aligned and then forcefully poked, setting off a chain reaction. The interpretation was clear: We are in a time of realignment among nations, similar to other pivotal moments in history when long-standing structures suddenly shifted.
The Dominoes I Saw Are the Nations
In my vision, I clearly saw that dominoes were nations. There were three countries that were the highlight of focus for this coming season as dominoes to watch: Iran, Venezuela, Guyana.
Iran
Iran remains one of the greatest burdens and hopes in my heart. For many years I have believed that Iran will run with the gospel. Even now we are seeing signs of deep spiritual hunger through dreams, supernatural encounters, and a growing underground church. Though the nation is experiencing intense volatility, I believe this is also a rare window of opportunity. This is a time when God is stirring to restore an inheritance and open doors for an extraordinary harvest.
Venezuela
Venezuela has come into focus as an important “domino” in this season of global shifting. While the removal of an unrighteous leader marks a significant moment, it is only the beginning. What happens afterward is critical for every shaking also presents opportunity and responsibility. As watchmen, we must pray not only for change, but for wisdom, righteous leadership, and godly transitions, so that freedom does not give way to chaos, and the purposes of God can unfold fully.
Guyana
Less visible, yet highly significant, is the role of Guyana. I sense this nation represents quiet, strategic alignment already in place beneath the surface. Often, God prepares pathways long before events become visible. Guyana’s position reminds us to watch carefully, pray discerningly, and not overlook the nations the Lord may be using as stabilizing influences in times of shaking.
The Call of the Sons of Issachar
Understanding the times is only the beginning. There is a great emphasis today on interpretation, on analyzing events, nations, and movements. But Scripture does not stop there. The sons of Issachar were not only able to discern the times; they also had knowledge of what God’s people should do.
True discernment must lead to wise application. My prayer is that a generation rises up with discernment and wisdom like the sons of Issachar.
A Call Back to the Lifestyle of the Watchman
As you step into this season, remember, character is the wineskin for revelation. In this season, the Lord is emphasizing examining how we live out our lives. Revelation must be couched in humility, integrity, and love.
Seek God’s heart, not merely headlines
Discern by prayer, not by platforms
Intercede first, then interpret
Watchmen do not hide from troubling times but instead face them with clean hearts, surrendered wills, and obedient spirits.
May We be Found Faithful
We have crossed into a time of momentum. This is no longer a season to just watch, it is also a season to act wisely. Interceded for the nations and pray over the vision I had about the dominoes. The dominoes are falling. Doors will open that will require clean hearts as well as quick and courageous obedience. Nations are realigning and the Kingdom of God is advancing.
