A Prophetic Generation Arising

By James W. Goll— September 11, 2025

Yahweh said to my Lord, the Messiah: “Rule at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” He will extend your royal power from Zion even in the midst of your enemies. You will rule over them with relentless authority. Your people will be your love offerings. In the day of your mighty power you will be exalted, and in the brightness of your holy ones you will shine like the morning dew—you are anointed with the dew of your youth! – Psalm 110:1–3 TPT

Dear Friend,

Did you know that the Lord is not only calling us to grow in prophetic revelation but also in prophetic discernment? We are living in a time when the light is getting brighter even as the darkness grows darker. And it is in such an hour as this that the Spirit is raising up an entire generation who will walk in wisdom, revelation, and divine courage.

In this fresh episode of The Discerner Podcast, I take you into the words of Psalm 110, a prophetic psalm that reveals the Messiah’s authority, His rule from Zion, and the calling of His people to volunteer freely in the day of His power. It is not just about the “then and there.” It is about the “here and now.” You and I are invited to rule and reign in Christ Jesus even in the midst of our enemies

Psalms 110:1-3 is a powerful  word for the times in which we live! This psalm speaks of Jesus seated at the right hand of the Father until every enemy is placed under His feet. But here’s the truth, as New Testament believers, we are already seated with Him in heavenly places. That means His scepter is extended through us. We are called to decree His Word, to walk in holiness, and to release His kingdom even in the midst of darkness.

My friend, darkness is not the end of the story. In fact, history shows us that darkness often becomes the very backdrop for revival. The Lord is raising up a people who will not shrink back but will stand boldly, declaring, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done.” And yes, you are part of that prophetic generation.

We must understand:

  • Why discernment is the Church’s greatest need in this hour.
  • How the Lord calls us to rule and reign in the midst of our enemies.
  • Why darkness is only the backdrop for a mighty move of God.
  • How you can volunteer freely in the day of His power.

“Darkness is only the backdrop for revival. An entire prophetic generation is arising. Will you be one who volunteers freely in the day of His power?”
— James W. Goll

I believe we have crossed over into the beginnings of the greatest harvest the church has ever known. But it will not come through a few great men and women of God alone. This is the day for the equipping of the saints  for you to rise up, filled with the Spirit, grounded in the Word, and walking in discernment and boldness.

My prayer for you is that the Spirit of wisdom and revelation would rest upon you in greater measure, that you would hear the voice of the Lord clearly, and that you would carry His authority wherever you go. Yes, my friend, you are called to be salt, light, and a discerner in these critical times.

With Gratitude and Joy for You,
